About GoForth
The majestic and powerful peaks of the Sierra Nevada Mountains. The expansive vistas and iconic red hue of Utah’s deserts. The lush bluffs and rugged sea stacks of Pacific Northwest beaches. These are just a few of the places where we come to play. Rest. Find community. Discover ourselves. Gain a new perspective. And experience the magic of our beautiful world.

That’s why we offer personalized trip-planning services and expertly crafted resources to motivate and encourage you to get outside. We’re here to help you – send us a message and let’s connect. We’re so excited to help you grow your life outdoors!
Who’s Andrew?
I stared out the window of my midwestern college dorm room. Aside from the ambient light of nearby street lights, the world was dark. November snow blanketed the ground as the temperature dipped below freezing. Feeling cramped and slightly stuffy, my eyes wandered from the sidewalk to the road to the homes across the street when a flip switched inside me.
I felt a pang begin to well up inside my chest. Muted at first, it slowly blossomed until I couldn’t ignore it any longer. Hundreds of miles away from the mountains, my nose suddenly craved the pine-scented alpine air, my feet begged to walk on the soft dirt trail, my heart longed for the freedom of the wilderness. In the middle of rural Iowa, I realized that my soul belonged outside.
Nine years later, I’ve spent countless nights under the stars and hiked hundreds of miles along some of the United States’ most iconic trails, including the Trans Catalina Trail, Lost Coast Trail, and John Muir Trail. I’ve summited numerous mountains, notably Mount Whitney (three times!), and have led hiking, camping, and backpacking trips across California. I’m also Wilderness First Aid certified. I’ve turned daydreams into unforgettable adventures, and with GoForth I hope to help you do the same.
